Motorola V710
Lost ability to pair V710
I had paired my V710 to my bluetooth enabled laptop and have used it as a low speed modem while travelling. Everything worked as expected.
Tonight I tried to connect to MPT via Bluetooth rather than the serial cable as in the past. No joy.
Now my DUN connection won't pair. Everything proceeds OK until I enter the PIN, first on my laptop then on the V710. The V710 never accepts it as valid and refuses to pair. It has worked flawlessly as recently as yesterday and the attempt to connect to MPT seems to be the destabilizing issue.
I called Verizon Tech support and talked to a level 2 tech. He understood the problem but didn't have a clue how to fix it. He called Motorola for help but they are closed until Monday.
