transferring videos
I just got the mem card and usb reader and i can transfer the pix to it but how do i transfer my mpegs?

I have the mmc in the reader and i'm trying to transfer them to the computer.But since you mentioned it,is the reverse also possible? appreciate the help

you just move them, they are in the motorola/shared/video folder
they are .3g2 extension which can only be played in the latest quicktime player, converted in quicktime pro
not sure if mp4 play on the phone but you can use quicktime pro/nokia multimedia software to convert many types to .3g2/.3gp
in my opinion, nokia works better, quicktime has more bugs and for some formats only converts video, not audio

only the pictures come up when I insert the memory card into the reader,I don't know how to bring up the videos that are on the card

do you have a motorola/shared/video folder? you should if you formatted your phone originally. also make sure your videos are being stored on the card and not the phone... if the former you can select "move" and movethem from the phone to the card
...
