SAR for Bluetooth headsets?

Proto

Every other month I see a report that either condems cell phone radiation or dismisses it as non-harmful.

What kind of SAR rating do BLUETOOTH headsets have? I know cellular transmissions and bluetooth transmissions are different ... just wondering if my right ear will fall off in a couple years.

Interesting question. Consider the range of your cell phone (miles to the nearest tower?, thousands of feet? - not sure exactly, but clearly it's a ways), then consider that your BT headset typically drops off the signal in 10-15 feet (10M claims are hogwash, of course) - let alone the fact that the signal gets crinkly when I put the phone in my left pocket.

So I'd guess the cell phone is a far greater risk, though surely some EE's here will enlighten us further. 🙂
