...and still keep my ringer set to "Loud"?

The low battery signal is so loud that I wouldn't want it to go off when the phone is near my ear.

Will it sound through the HS820 when I'm using it?

Thanks

I don't want to turn it off. I want to turn the volume of the alert down. It can't be done, after reading the manual again, only set to play, vibrate or off.

I have my ringtone set to loud and have created my own MP3 ringtone (it's a riff I played on guitar, with some harmonics at the front end). 😁

I've got it real loud so I can hear my phone ringing when I'm in my studio and I leave the phone upstairs.

I'm going check the manual again to see if I can create a quieter ringtone to use as the alert.

yeah, I read that here today. I've grown less and less happy with the phone since I've owned it for a few weeks now and am following everything here about a number of the poorly implemented features.

I'm not talking about OBEX, etc. but phone not ringing when my HS820 is on, speaker not on when lid closed, low earset volume, this low battery beep, uneven back lite, inability to remove stupid kiddy animations and installed pix, off axis camera lense, mediocre camera compared to cheaper phones etc.

The deal breaker for me will be if VZW doesn't fix the phone not ringing when the HS820 is on. I'm sure not gonna wear this @#$% headset 24/7 in order to not miss a call and I can't power the headset on in time to catch all calls. 👿
