that is ghetto...What you need is the motorola MP3 headset which allows you to play mp3 and also use it as a regular headset...

not really... probably a bit battery friendlier than the actual phone itself.... IIRC it runs on its own AA battery too... and memory card...

What you need are these.

Playing mp3's barely kills the battery.

Pfft... can you say broken/ripped wires? (I have had 2 of the FM headsets... the wires could be a bit beefier, really...) just use

and pick your own headphones, for comfort and cheapness... I like Motorola, and I enjoy using their products, but just because you drive a Chevy doesn't mean you have to listen to tapes from Chevy in it. 🙂

I am very active with those headphone jogging and ridding bicycle and they have been caught and pulled off a couple of time's and still hold up and work fine. Maybee they have different wires.
That Chevy analogie really doesn't compare it fairly.
1. You DON'T have to unplug the headphones to answer a call
2. Send/receive button
3. Call's are in stereo
4. Push and hold the send/receive and use obey moto and never touch the phone.
5. They match the phone perfectly(the same color scheme)
That like saying if you listen to chevy tapes in a chevy you don't have to have a adapter for the tape and you don't have to eject it to rewind it. 😁

Whoops my mistake you push and hold the send/receive button to record voice messages.
You just have to tap the button for obey moto.

I have a ipod and the v710 with the HS120 headphone's. The volume is almost exactly the same. I never carry my ipod now.
Why would I carry two mp3 player's?

I have the volume on my v710 up all the way and I can't hear it when I am walking or on the subway. I don't want to change myu mp3s to increase the gain. Might be different with different phones but as has been reported there are many phones where the internal volume is ****
