why is my phones screen scratched???
honestly, this cant be? how is it scratched??? do the buttons scratch it when it is closed???
it is also scratched on the top part of the flip, right about the camera lens (i guess from opening and closing it)

These are known problems the buttons do scratch it.
Mine has never scratched the inner screen because I removed the two skimpy silicone bumpers(which just pull right off and can easily be put back on) and made my own.
To make silicon bumpers;
Run a pencil thick bead of silicon on a piece of paper and let it dry.
With a fresh razor blade cut two of the same size square's out of the silicon bead thicker than originals(it may take a couple tries to get two exactly same sized squares.
Then hold the squares you cut with tweezer's and put a drop of fresh silicon on the bottom of the square and set it over the original silicon holes on the phone and let it dry. (about a half hour or so and it will be held enough to use your phone)

no its not the silicon bumpers...they dont even effect the screen...they do however effect thetop of the inner flip where the ear speaker is...because you can visibly see the marks they caused, but i have scratches in the middle of my screen, but all the buttons look level so i dont know how it oculdve happened...

jesus man did you read his reply ?? ?why are you wasting everyones time??? this has been discussed over and over here and on howard forums . the screen sits to close to the keys - has on all motorola flip phones since the 60 series. he suggested you make the bumpers bigger to keep the keys away from the screen. -- good suggestion -- i bought a 3 dollar screen protector and put it on the front and inner screen-- have to change it once a month or month and a half
there is a guy on howard forums that has a template for the screen savers to cut them
if you buy the leather case on motorolas web sight or the one verizon offers this would save you too
