NEW FIRMWARE
Not sure if you guys have mentioned this yet, the new firmware coming out for the 710 will remove the copy,move, option in menu when you want to move files from the card to your phone or the other way around....

Depends on the area... around here cingular is absolute crap.. (they tie with sprint for worst network)... ATTWS is ok, if you're not moving around during a call... If you're on the go, get used to dropping calls...

i believe its because if VZW gives us one thing the take the other. They give us full bluetooth function, then they take away our MP3 player. Such that we can not put music our selves in the TF card. we would have to buy and download them from Get It Now. and if you think its too slow downloading it, then thats why they are bringing out EV-DO. $80/month EV-DO+$1/song= VZ rich/us broke. its all a big puzzle.my .02$

Yeah, if we could get bitpim working properly on this phone moving media would be a non-issue.
By the way, Verizon already does this with games. The only way to get games on this phone is with GIN. Soon, this will be for mp3s as well...

I'd like confirmation too. Also, what if I do not want the firmware change? Is there any more info about over the air vs physical connection?

sounds mostly bad. i didnt buy a flash card to hold cheesy gin pictures and ringtones. i want my music and pictures on my freakin phone. im not payin everytime i want to change my ringtone. thats ridiculous!!!! at@t's service is improving(its doubled since cingular bought them out) and they have the high speed networks in effect. i wont take much to push me in there direction

I DON'T SEE THEM TAKING AWAY THE 2 BUTTON, THERE ARE JUST TO MANY PHONE NUMBERS OUT THERE WITH THAT NUMBER, TO MANY NUMBER CHANGES.

they are not going to lock up the bluetooth any more than it is....also if u cancel verizon, u'll be miserable...no other company has a network as strong as verizon nation wide...

Yes, 80% of us are consumers, and no we don't work for Verizon or a phone tech place. I am grateful to the people who do work in the business that offer their input but I love the fact that there are phone hackers out there to help us enable the functionality that should be enabled but companies like Verizon disable it for greed. I consider this a violation of our rights. Its our equipment that we pay for, Verizon should be happy we subscribe to their service and not force us to use their crappy gin just to enable full functionality of our phones. I really hope someday in the near future the international mobile market meshes with ours because than it will be the way it should be. And by the way, as consumers, I dont appreciate being l...
