google for the MP35A... use your favorite headphones with your 710 in true stereo. 🙂

They come "registered mail" so you'll probably have to drive down to the post office to pick em up...

What about the Motorola Headset? What does that go for? Are these adapters any better than a cheap adapter like this one?

uhh, yes! that'll kill the phone or the headphones or both... the jack on the phone is a 4 conductor 2.5mm jack... the adapter in tha tlink is a 3 conductor, and they instruct you to "pull it part way out" its gonna fry something... the mic line has +5v on it, not a good thing to short it to ground (pulled partway out) or put it into a speaker designed for 1v peak-peak max...

using that adapter is equibalent to plugging a mono plug into a stereo jack... tip is positive, ring isn't present so the right channel is SHORTED to sleeve which is at ground... crank the volume up and you'll tost the output stage on the right channel... don't screw around with your 710, get the right adapter...

These are hands down the best headphones you can get for the v710. MANY more features and you don't need a clunky adaptor.

I agree, that is nice but its $25. If you get the adapter that is a wire, not a plug like the one mentioned by Sponge you can use any headphones and if you're headphones break you can buy another pair of cheap headphones.

By the way, have you purchased this item and used it?

the best are the 4 conductor adapters rated to work with the motorola MPx200 cell phone. So you can use youe favorite headphones. I bought the adapter thathas both headphone and headst jak in it, but I had to crack it open atest and re-wire it to work right. G-Luck
