Hi, I have a quick question I have the moto v710 had it for over 2 months now, but i was wondering would you say that this phone has stereo sound where the ringtone speaker is on the phone? I know this phones ring tones are alot better and more clear then any other phone ive had in the past like the vx6000. exspecially the real ringtones and mp'3 But i was wondering cuz I know if you click on the vx-8000 on this site it says it has stereo sound on that phone and on some sites it says this phone does too. what our your thoughts on this. any help would be appreciated thanks... 😁

it means you're getting both channels with no separation... more or less just mono, but you're getting the information from both channels instead of just the left (true mono)

ok im kinda following you a little better. is that why there our two speakers in the back then i thought the one on the right was to talk into for the speaker phone cuz ive noticed that only the left speaker is the one that plays the music and the right one doesnt or isnt very loud. so then both of the speakers have diff sounds?

I donno about 2 speakers, but no thats not why there would be 2 speakers. It just means that there are two sound streams one for each ear. and that those 2 are mixed into one speaker. the v710 does the same thing with its rear speaker. to add stereo audio to the v710 you must buy an 4 conductor stereo adapter or headphons that are campatable with the motorola MPx200.

What exactly does this mean? Is this the same issue that prevents headphones that work with Motorola from working with Nokia phones?

YESSSSS! Exactly the same issue! nokia uses an earpiece ground and a mic ground... whereas the othe rmanufacturers use a combined ear/mic ground...

The HS120 is listed for the V710, says stereo in title and the HS525 is listed for MPx200, doesnt say stereo in title, but says it in description. The pics look the same. The reason I ask is cause I found the HS525 for $11.99 and the HS120 $19.99-24.99

your observation is correct. the left speaker kicks out the sound. why? dont know. but this is a mono phone. the only way to get stereo is through the headphones 😉 😁 😛 😎
