Utilizing v710 as a modem for Palm Tungsten T3

First I went to Howards Forum and found instructions on what to do and I could never get beyond the Palm displaying "signing on". And then it would time out.

I just spent over an hour on the phone with a tech from vzw data center. We went through the entire problem of my not being able to break through and use my v710 as a bluetooth modem for my Palm Tungsten 3. We tried everything until I told him that my computer is a MAC and not PC. He seems to feel that because of this I might not have the proper drivers in my Palm to interact with the v710. During all of our testing he didn't once detect my phone making contact with the Verizon network.

Does anyone know if this is true and where I can locate the correct drivers that I can downlo...

Forgot to mention...when you pair the two devices, use the "BT to Moto TP280i" driver.

BToothMan:I'm still unable to make connection but please bear with me.
I did what you said and went into programming on my v710 and changed the rate to 14.4/14.4. Then you instructed to pair the 2 devices. I know that on the v710 that means going into settings->bluetooth->setup->Find Me. Now, on my Palm I'm not so certain...what I've done is go into preferences-> phone-> set up connection to read BT to Motor.TP280i and the press test. When I do this I get this response on my T3...

"The phone was unable to handle your request. Please make sure your are using the right driver for your phone".

Perhaps I am not pairing the T3 with the v710 correctly...Perhaps I don't have the correct driver on my Palm??? Then, when you instruct that i...
