The program works pretty good. Depending on the video you might need to update codecs on your machine (i.e div3)

Once you have a video file that you can successfully opne in Nokia MM, all you do is click convert. When its finished save the file - and as long as it has a .3gp or .3g2 extension it will play fine once you tranfer it to motorola/shared/videos

Yeah this isn't brain surgery. I downloaded the application over the weekend.

Point it at a video file you have (ie. MPEG)

Click Convert

Wait ...

Click Save

Copy to root of TransFlash card

Insert TF in phone

Menu, 6, 4

you need your registration info for the nokia dev forum anyway... check you rbulk/junk/spam folders... lots of times it ends up there.

If you JUST went to the Nokia site moments ago and registered on the DEV site to download the converter ... the email may actually take more than 10 milli seconds to get to you.

Everyone wants INSTANT gratification these days. 🙄

My email took about 20 min to arrive.

As far as I know that is the only site to get the software from. 😳

You NEED TO BE REGISTERED. When you install the software you NEED TO BE REGISTERED. When you install it you enter your user ID, and they mail you an activation key.

So ... let me stress ... YOU NEED TO REGISTER. 🙂

OK.. not to sound like an ASS... but it was around 7am this morning and it's 4pm now, still no email. People on this forum aren't ****ing dumb. Because people have questions that you might think are simple, doesn't mean you have to act like an ass.

Saying that, I have searched the forums and When people have asked, all I come up with is people telling them to download. no other specific info. If I missed something, sorry.

Don't mean to bitch, but damn. I know a lot about cell phones, probably more than most on this site, just asking questions, that I don't know or don't have the answers immediately available to me.

Well sorry if I came off as bitchy ... 😎

But as I said, and Sponge confirmed ... you do need to be registered to install the software as well as download it.

What happens when you try to log in using the account you specified when you registered?

I tried logging in before I got the email, and it said ... account created but not active.

Do you atleast get that far?

you know what proto, you did sound bitchy...damn i haven't checked this damn forum since i asked the question but i figured it out. i had the converter before, but i thought that you had to input a certain "max" length or capacity that is why i asked. and no one ever ****in asked you to volunteer your ****in information if you were going to be an ass and assume that we're stupid/dumb. i think i know more than you, but i'm not going there, and sorry i don't sit on my ass the whole day and go through the damn phone...but thank you sponge and all others that replied with a decent reply...have a great day!
