V710 and Wired Headsets
To Everyone that has the 710 and a wired headset please try and plug it in during a call, spin the plug around and see if the phone cuts out. Either mine comes loose when i spin it around (or plug it in wrong) or i have a problem with my phone - i suspect that it juts pops up alittle when you swivel it around... thanks for your help! ive since bought the bluetooth headset, but i sometimes like the wired ones...

which BT headset did you get? Have you asked some people how you sound to them? Try the BT and wired headset and handset each with the same person and ask what are the differences? I have been considering the Plantronics M2500. I am conscerned with how they sound to the other party. Some say they echo.
I use wired and have put it in during a call - no probs. Don't know about spinning - I don't do that.
Went to the doctor and said: "it hurts when I do THIS" he said "don't do that"

BTW. My questions are sincere. I would like to know. I did not mean to sound sardonic.

Send me a link to the headset your looking at and ill tell you. this one has like 3 colored covers that you can change. I bought the 820 on the 15 day try plan, if i dont like it, im going to return it and get the 810 from radioshack. there is a little static on the bluetooth because i live in a dorm. wired doesnt have that problem. not so much echoing. the problem lies with me spending $419 for a phone, i want EVERYTHING working, well that verizon has not already crippled. I understand your tone. 🙂

I know when I try to use an adapter to use std stereo headphones that happens, I was told by posts in this forum b/c its 3 conductor not 4 conductor... maybe same issue? but not really sure

i think its a possibility, we plug it into the same hole, have you spun yours around? im just nervous that something inside is not connected, which may lead to a wired anything not working in that slot.
