You're definitely missing something. You should have received two pieces, when you ordered the card. The transflash memory itself, which is the size of your little finger nail, and an adapter, which you plug the transflash into, and then plug the adapter into your computer or reader. To the reader the transflash then looks just like an SD memory Card.
I'm told that you can buy the TF without the adapter -- but most places sell both together.

If you have an older computer, like I do, you will need to buy a USB Adapter. It is really simple to use, you just put the TF card in the adapter it came with then slide it into the USB adapter. I bought the "San Disk Adapter" but the 8 in 1 adapters work fine also. Just plug it into the computer and thats it. If you have Win XP it will read it as soon as you plug it in as a "removable disk." Have fun...I would read up on old discussions about pic size and mp3 size and format. The phone is picky and as suggested I would always turn the phone off when you put in the card and take it out. I hope I helped đ
