Itune Ring Tones..
HONEST, I have searched and searched this site for Itune stuff and it isn't helping... OK I go to my song I want, then I right click it and change it to about 25 sec. I get that far but when I try to drag it to my ringtone file it isn't the short 25 sec. song it is the whole song. What am I doing wrong????

you gotta take that 25 second song and encode it to mp3. make sure in the preferences in the importing tab that mp3 is selected with a bit rate around 60-96kbps and select mono and then take that 25 second shortened song and select convert to mp3 from the menu. then you'll have a brand new file

LowBallJ I think this is where I am getting hung up, I think they are already in mp3 mode. There is no option to change to mp3 just to convert to ACC (or something like that)

Yeah mp3 is fine.
Go to Edit Menu
Go to Preferences
Click the Importing Tab
Change the "Import Using" tab from AAC encoder to Mp3 encoder
Change "Setting" to Custom...
Change "Stereo Bit Rate" to 64, 80 or 96, whatever you feel is best for size/quality issues
Change "Channels" to Mono
Now try converting
Go to Edit Menu
Go to Preferences
