Hello everyone,

For those interested here are two files that can be used as a ringtone for your v710 phone. I took the audio from a flash file on the hellomoto website.

Simply right click and choose save target as for this file, and save it to your transflash card.

Or right click and choose save, to your desktop, then email this as an attachment to your number at vzwpix.com ([email protected])

If you account has the correct feature code, it will show up as $0.25 cents. This is if you are not subscribed to a picture messaging package.

PIX MSG Packages are:

2.99 for 20 Pix/Flix
4.99 for 40 Pix/Flix

There are also GIN value bundles.

7.99 For 20 Pix/Flix 500 TXT
9.99 For 20 Pix/Flix 750 TXT
14.99 For 40 Pix/Flix 1500 TXT

Full details can be found here:

Hope that help, and you like the ringer

MENU BUTTON -> MESSAGES -> INBOX

Then open the message, when you scroll down you sould see an attachment with a musical note next to it. Click PLAY, then when the file is playing, click store.

This should do the trick.

Hey need some wallpaper for your phone or computer, see my other post:

Am I doing something wrong? I right-clicked on the links and chose save-as and saved them to disk. However, neither Windows Media Player or WinAmp plays anything (just an instant of silence). I copied them to my TF card and tried playing them on my v710 and got an instant of silence (just like on my computer). Do I have to send them directly to my phone?

Just wondering.....

No, sounds like you were doing it right. My server resets periodically and my guess is that you started a download in the middle of a reboot. Every 48hrs it reboots, to clear out the cache and page-files.

Try it again, I did and it still works ok for me.

If you are still having problems, copy the link you want and then paste it into this form on the website below:

Then it will instruct you on what to do.

Hope that helps, let me know if it did. I can always email the file if you are still having problems.

I tried what you suggested (on 3 different systems). I cleared the browser's cache and history first. I get the correct filenames (they both are 1.1K long), but still can't play the files in WinAmp or Media Player. Just on a whim, I opened both files with Notepad. What I saw was HTML coding--not the "junk" you'd expect with an audio file.

Could you please e-mail them to [email protected]?

Thanks!

Check you email, they should be there.

Send me a reply when you get them.'

Also, I noticed when I tried to save the files in another browser not IE, (K-Meleon), that it saved the html files instead of the correct files. So just click the file not right click it in that case.
