V710 taking off of the verizon website!!??
I just checked to see if any new phones came out and the motorola V710 is completly off the verizon site now...what is going on here?? I now here that the new ones wont come in till late novmeber this rediculous i think i might just get the vx 8000 when it comes out! 😕

Well, I spoke to a Verizon rep. this even about the V710 being taken off the website and was informed that it was due to such a high demand in volume from customers they did not have any in stock. Since the phone is so POPULAR and they did not have any in stock, Verizon did not want to advertise it. The Verizon Rep. did not mention anything to me about the phone having any kind of issues (such as camera photo tilt) with it.

I went into a Verizon in NYC today and spoke to a rep., personally. I noticed there were no v710 out and I said "oh what happened to the v710". I then stated there was a recall right?, and she began to stutter...(like how did you know). All she got out at first was they'll be in appx by Tue-Nov 2. So again I pushed and said oh what happened...were they recalled, and she said yes. I said by who Verizon or motorola and she stated to me by motorola. She said they had to remove all v710 from the floor until an entire new stock was recieved. She then told me it was all because of some kind of camera problem that the phones had. She said that this store did not have any reports of any camera problems, but that nomatter what they all had to...

I was in a NYC store a few days and I talked to a manager. He told me that there was a recall and I could bring my phone back in for a new one, no problem. He than proceeded to tell me that they were getting new ones on Monday. I went in on Monday and of course he was wrong. Now everyone is saying November. This is ridiculous. I love how everyone says something different

it is true the v710 has a problem with the pix coming up tilted or crookid, trust me i do know this. 😉
