summarize
can someone please summarize what is going on with our phones if our camera is tilted or our speaker volume is low or we have scratches on our screen or in the crease of the flip...can we get new phones by going into any verizon store...or where we bought the phone...a summary please...thanx in advance

Verizon has only officially recognized the camera tilt issue with the V710, which is caused by improper manufacture and installation of the camera within the phone. Whether there is an official recall is open for debate.
Verizon has said that all V710s with the camera tilt issue can be exchanged for a corrected phone. It is uncertain whether the replacement phone will be new or factory refurbished. At this point, there are neither new phones nor factory refurbished available to replace defective phones and the phone cannot be purchased. Originally Verizon said replacement phones would be available October 29, then that date was pushed back to late November.
