Beat this...I'm on my 3rd phone going on 4
I just went to Verizon and got my 3rd V710 with the fixed camera, the box had the blue sticker also. This phone was special ordered from the warehouse and shipped FED EX. Anyway, they gave me the phone transferred all my contacts and off I went. When I got into the car I noticed that the keypad backlight wasn't working and comes on intermittently. Weird... I went back inside and they told me that a new shipment was coming in tomorrow. I guess I'll be on my 4th phone tomorrow evening.

I had the camera tilt problem on phones 1 & 2. The reason I stayed with this phone is cause its the only phone that verizon carrys that has bluetooth.

if your phone is on batterysave mode, the keypad will not light up if the room/area around you is bright. the keypad will only light up in darker atmospheres. there is a photosensor located on the keypad that can tell whether it is bright or dark.

I didn't realize that they were shipping new phones with "fixed" cameras? Mine really sucks, as I'm sure many people who bought this phone early will agree.
Do you still have the ability to assign a file as a ring tone on your new phone?

1st phone
camera capture failed error when i tried to take pix after about a month of having it.
2nd phone
the same day i returned the 1st, same problem. camera captured failed
3rd phone
after about 3 weeks, the phone went completely dead. techs couldnt figure out what happened to it.
now Im waiting for the stores to get them in again, so I can pick up my 4th.
ironically, I still love the phone and can't wait to get it.
