if u do need to claim ur phone and happen to lose or damage ur expensive blue tooth headset, they should cover it..my friend just dropped his in the water with his headset and he was able to claim his headset as well.....

If you have the insurance thru Verizon that is issued by Assurion, I can confirm that you CANNOT cliam the bluetooth headset. They specifically only include those accesories which come with the phone ( orig. battery, belt clip, wall charger, etc. ) I was tweaked because I had my extended battery in for about a week after I soaked my 710 in puddle, but luckily the ext. battery was unaffected.

I'd love to find out this was the case, but after making the cliam on the phone, I read through the Assurion documentation, and it looks pretty much looks like that they spell out "only original accessories...."
But, if there was anything to the contrary, or you know of an example of someone else who had Assurion coverage got a non-original accessories replaced, I would love to know about it. 😁
