Let's break up Verizon, like the Feds did to AT&T
I can only hope that as many customers who can bail out on VZW actually do it, that the Class Action Lawsuit is successful, and that the financial loss to Verizon is horrific.
VZW needs to be dismantled, like the Feds did to AT&T many years ago, and make them earn our business all over again.
Really, the telephone carrier should not have the right to dictate our hardware choices at all, and the folks who enforce the Sherman Anti-Trust Act should be working on that problem right now.

Who said the firmware was version 1.38.52? Nobody. Just some attention starved idiot on another forum who has been proven wrong.
It is true that Verizon has had the update since September though. Ask them why they refuse to finish testing it. They have no respect for their customer. Their first priority is getting new Christmas phones tested. Firmware updates just keep their employees from selling new phones, they see us as giant dollar signs.
