I've tried to put mp3 on my transflash from my laptop but when I put the tf card back in my phone they don't show up. Does Media Player 10 have the convertor built in or do I need to download a convertor.

Thanks All

for future reference, PLEASE DO A SEARCH. 30 seconds of your time with the search function will save both you and everyone else time for unnecessary posting.

only mp3 files that are converted to midi can be recognized by the phone. in order to do so, go to control panel > folder options, select the VIEW tab, and uncheck the box that says, "hide extentions for known file types." you can now rename the file with a .mid extension.

also, try formatting the tf card BEFORE using it. like i said, DO A SEARCH before asking questions. these topics have been repeated over and over.

Wrong!!

The phone will recognise mp3s on the TF card. If you want to use it as a ringtone, move the mp3 over to the ...

well how do you do it then?

also, what is hot swapping your tranflash card? taking it in and out of the phone without turning it off?

thanks

As I stated in my previous post, if you drag and drop them onto the TF card, and you cant see them, make sure the Storage Device is set to the "rsMMC". If it is and you still cant see the mp3s, then try reformatting the TF card in windows. If this STILL does not work, then you have a defective v710. The TF card was made soley for the purpose of media (mp3s, videos & pictures).

Hotswapping is removing the TF card while the phone is on. If you have been hotswapping the TF card, a possibility which may fix your problem is to put the TF card in the phone, power off, and then on again to see if it made a difference. If not, try reformatting the card and doing the same thing.

cool, I got the mp3 to play as a ringer...and I dont know what some people are talking about...THESE MP3s PLAY GREAT!! I was surprised at the volume and clarity of it.

anyways, I noticed I took the whole .mp3 over and put it on the phone. I was searching through the forum a bit and read something about itunes making them shorter clips, so I can fit more songs on the phone.

how do I make 20-25 second clips of .mp3s? with itunes? how?

thanks a ton

this phone rules 😁

do a search for a program called polderbitS. Its sound editing software. Thats what I use and it works great. After that your going to want to do a search for the crack for it! or if you want just buy the software. I think its like $30.00.
thanks,

Thanks ck976 for taking the time out of your busy schedule to answer a question from a lazy moron like myself.

I've never been a part of a site such as this and I didn't realize you could do a search like that. Sorry for my ignorance. I'll be sure to do a search next time.

One question, If it was such a impostion, why did you even answer?
