The audiovox is a great phone. It has excellent RF, although not as good as the v710s. I sold my v710 for a 9900 and am very happy.. The cdm9900 also has one of the best cameras ever put on a phone, quality wise.. especailly in low-light conditions.

Theoretcally, the v710s camera quality *could* become better with a firmware update, but how much I don't know, but it would be limited to the cameras natural potential. I also dont think verizon or moto would bother making the cam quality better, although Moto did with the v620 transtioon for the vXXX series. Same cameras, different firmware, different quality pics..
