1280 X 960 High Resolution - Has Anyone Used It Yet?

Just curious if anyone has used the higher resolution 1280 x 960 for their camera, and what the pluses and drawbacks were. I know that sometimes when you add higher resolution to your PC it messes up your screen. Anything like this for the phone? Thanks. Later

i took pictures in that resolution, it looks bad on the phone, better on the mac, but i mean still not the best... i also shrink it down to 1024x768...
