Keeping the external LCD display on?
Is there a way to keep the outside display on. It's a pain to click a button for the time, missed calls, etc.
I've heard it uses the same light as the internal display, so this would probably run the battery down.

are you serious?? you can't take the extra millisecond of your precious time to press one (ANY) button to check the time?

I like to be able to glance at the phone to see if I have any missed calls, text messages, or the time. I paid a lot for this phone and I just want it to be as good as possible.

If they even allowed that option to be turned on, your battery life would be like 4 hours. The color LCD screen uses up a HUGE amount of battery life since when the front lcd screen lights up so does the inside screen. Just deal with pushing the button.

On my LG 6100, the outside light does not stay on, but it is still easily viewed without having to hit any buttons.
My wife's 9900 is totally black on the outside view screen when the light is off, and you MUST hit a button to view it.
How is viewing the v10 outside display??
