Screen Bumper For New V710 (?)
I noticed that some peeps are saying that the "old" V710 had problems with the screen getting scratched because there wasn't some kind of bumper guard on the screen. I'm just making sure that I have the bumper on mine, but what would it look like if there was a bumper around the screen, and/or what would it look like if it didn't? My camera seems to be straight to me, so I guess I am just making sure I have the right "new" V710. I was told about two months ago that the "old" V710 was recalled, and it was taken off the website as well. I'm figuring that's because it was recalled. Well, when the "new" V710 became available online about two weeks ago I was quick to order, figuring that this was the corrected phone. Anyways, obvious please let m...

The new ones are supposed to be water proof. To make sure, dip your phone (while in the on position) halfway into a cold glass of water. If an error message pops up, you need to go get another v710.

Don't do this... either way... you will need a new 710 whe it hits the water!!!!!!

I would hope that you aren't silly enough to think they would put their phone in a glass of water -- everyone knows you need to do this test in the dishwasher
then check its heat resistance by drying it in the stove
