I've noticed a lot of people having problems transferring files from their TF cards to their PC or phone so I thought I'd share some info. This may have been discussed in earlier threads so forgive me if I'm duplicating effort.
Today's flash memory devices are indeed hot swappable, meaning they can be inserted & removed from your PC without having to power down/up. Before doing this you MUST stop the socket service to that device. You do this by clicking on the icon in your task bar & specifying that that device be stopped, at which time you get a message that it's safe to remove the card. This is imperative since your PC can be accessing the card at the moment you remove it, resulting in corrupted data on the card. It can also corrupt th...
