Echo on HS820??
I've heard a number of complaints from people that I'm talking to while using the HS810 headset. I can hear them just fine, voice commands are fine, but they hear their voice echo on the other end. It doesn't happen when I'm not using the headset.
Any suggestions???

have you tried monkeying with the 2 volumes?? like turn all the way up on phone and down on headset or visa versa???
and maybe try shifting the headset around so it fits more snugly to your ear so the sound isn't getting out and to the mic

Thanks man... I think it was a combination of both of those & I'm getting better results now.
Do you think I'd be better off with the HS820?
Btw - I saw an add in the paper last weekend that Cingular has the HS810 for $49.00 - $20.00 rebate. Anyone know anything about this? Even though I'm with VZW, I was thinking of returning my $99.00 headset to Best Buy & saving a few bucks at Cingular.

Nevermind on the Cingular offer. It was 89-20 rebate & you have to be a current Cingular customer. Oh well... 😢

the problem i think (some one posted the simular add) is that you must be a cingular customer under contract -- in the small print
I like the 810 much better just for the way it functions -- i thought that the sound quality on both was the same,
