Camera -Pics Bad On The Phone, Good When Sent To Computer

This maybe already known, and might have already been talked about, but I spoke with a Verizon tech the other day and he explained to me that the 1.2 Megapixel doesn't necessarily look good on the camera itself, but when sent to a computer or laptop the picture is suppose to look great. Now I've never done this, sent a picture to my computer, but if he is right, then your pictures should look really good. If anyone out there has done this, please let me know what you think of the picture quality from your camera to a computer or laptop. Maybe he is full of it, but it made sense to me at the time. Please let me know. In the meantime I'll be getting a usb cable and whatnot to check it out myself. Later

Pictures taken in bright conditions look great on camera and computer. However, pictures taken in normal to low light conditions are horrible. A lot of noise, granularity and a strange blue hue. BTW, my daughter's non megapixel SCH-a610 takes infinitely better pics. Although I haven't tried, others have said they had better success with the camera on the night setting, lower resolution and some other tweaks that escape me now. If the camera feature is important you want to give the LG 8000 a serious consideration. Some the pix from that camera posted on HOFO look pretty incredible. I will trade my phone to the 8000 if there isn't any improvements made to the 710 by the LG release.

I have't tried to tranfer a "bad" photo... but I can imagine how bad that would be.

very nice...believe me the bad photos are much too grainy to be of any use...I know many people think the camera is secondary to the phone, but imo for the steep price point I would've expected better...so the drama continues, whether revised 710s will be better or not....I just wish there were more choices with similar specs to the Moto.

Somehow I think "better" is just around the corner.... even if it is not for us V710 owners... ie the 7Mp camera from LG!!!

It seems MOTO may have dropped the ball on the camera issue with this phone... especially in low light situations.

As for the Bluetooth issue... I believe that one is Verizon fault. To me it seems quite clear that they want to make money everytime you send a picture or sound or other file.

If the phone has the atilt to do this and I have the equipment to transfer a fie via bluetooth to the phone than that should be my right to do so...it is my phone... I paid for it.... and I paid for a bluetooth phone!!!

Now, on the other hand Verizon has the right to get paid if I send a file via their network. That is fa...
