AIM for v710
I was just wondering if you can get AIM for the v710 through get it now or something besides text messaging. If so how much does it cost?

Yes you can get AIM from get it now. Its called something else, like mobile messenger or something, and lets you use AIM, MSN, and Yahoo.
It is free to download but costs you a text message everytime you send/ recieve a message. 😕

thats rediculous, verizon is so ****ty when it comes to anything other than service.
Guess i'll have to re-program my wap version of aim that i made, that i used to have before my computer hard drive died, which just uses minutes.
Maybe i'll think about switching providers. My contract has been up for months and I've been thinking about the v710 for a while and renewing my contract, but I don't know if I want to give verizon my money anymore.

I also have not found a way to use the predictive text option with the AIM program on the V710. So far, the only way I've found to type with that program is with the 'tap' method, which takes FOREVER (as opposed to using iTap, which is the predictive text option for Motorola)
