dual NAM question
Hi, I just upgraded my old v60 to a v710 through alltel which is my primary account, but also use verizon, for a local number in one of the cities I frequent. Anyway since alltel is my primary should I do the verizon software update through *228 on the second NAM or will that affect the software and roaming list of Alltel

I knew that the use the same network in the area that I'm at right now, since both right now are using network 21. My actual question had to do with the off air software updates, whether it is NAM specific and would only apply to NAM2 or whether is is applied to the whole phone and would affect both NAM1 and NAM2

In my experience it is never a good idea to OTA a dual NAM phone, especially if the numbers are from two different areas. I would imagine this would be the same for two different carriers. All the tomes I have tried it the phone got confused failed authentication with the network and had to be manually programed and reset in the MTSO. Your best bet is to take it to a VZW store and have them flash the new PRL into the phone using the PST program.
