Memory Card woes
Hi All,
I started playing with my memory card after a while. I moved some pictures off the phone onto the card, now i can't move them back, it says unable to move.
When I switch storage device to the card and try to view the pictures on the card, i select pictures, it flashes the list for a bit and goes back to the previous menu. On the 3rd try, it shows me the list of pics but none are available on the thumbnails. I have to do a view on each pic to see what it is. I cannot move the picture back to the phone.. how bad is that?
Did VZW completely disable file transfer through the card?

have you been turning off the phone when you remove / replace the tf card??? if not it has been widely reported here and on hofo that these cards are not hot swappable. and what is worse there is a possibility that you can corrupt your info by hot swapping -- if these files ar ecorrupted i have heard that the only fix is to reformat the card and reload the pics.
at this point unless you have a different software version then the rest of us then no verizon hasn't done anything to your tf card but you might have

Thanks for the reply Rob! I will keep in mind to turn off the phone while inserting or removing the card and also try to reformat it..

I can confirm this. When I tried to hot swap card, my MP3s were being corrupted 50% of the time. But, when shutting off the phone and swapping, no problems.
Formatting the card is a must as well.
