Hey all,

my friend cant get this working and we tried the same thing I did for mine and mine works fine. we formatted his tf card, and when he trys to put a wallpaper (saved to his comp) to his card, it gives him an invalid path name specified error or something. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

I will get an exact error message if that will help.

Thanks

Grey

Format the card in the phone and NOT in the computer.

yeah, maybe I mistyped, but we did format it in the phone. I thought that was his problem so I did it myself (with his phone) to make sure it got done right.

im just not sure if its the phone, computer, or the transflash card. I guess it cant be the card reader since the computer recognizes the drive and everything.

just doesnt make any sense to me

To eliminate the phone from the equation -- does his phone read your card??

good point, yes it does.

we plan on bringing his stuff to my house (with my computer) and testing everything out, and finding out the source of the problem.

maybe it is his card, oh well, we will find out.

I was just curious if anyone came across the same problem

I ran into some problems getting everything to work right when I first got it. Just keep formatting in the phone and put it in the drive. When you open the drive on your computer to view the card there should be a Moto folder with other folders in it. If it pops up an error on your computer when you try and drag a file to it, just keep trying it. Thats what I had to do and it worked after the 2nd or 3rd try. It gave me that problem for the first couple of weeks but then all of a sudden it started working fine.
