does anyone know if uscc disabled the bluetooth on the 710 like verizon did?

As far as I can say no, I've activated it, alltho don't have anything else bluetooth to test it on.

Then you don't have a true answer. You can activate BT on any BT phone. The question is meant to address the file transfer issue.
