This is bull we all bought this expensive phone and they keep delaying the update!! Will it ever come? We all need to keep calling them until the release it.

FWIW, I was at an Alltel store and got the Alltel CSR on the phone with Moto tech support to try to find out why an Alltel v710 wouldn't upload the phone book to my car's bluetooth phone. Moto said the patch should be out in a couple of weeks. My guess is early January.
I'm so glad I haven't bought this phone yet. If they fix it, I'll buy it. If not, Cingular.

I'm glad I did not purchase the phone. I had read about all the problems and was interested to purchase it after the updates were in place not simply the promise of updates. The industry is notorious with late update releases. By the time they release the updates there will be a better phone out.
