You don't have to "surf" through thousands of replies to get your answer! Simply use the "search" at the bottom of this page and type in what you want to find, like "flash". Now that's not too hard is it. 🙄

These forums are to answer "un-answered" questions, not to constantly repeat the same answer for a person too lazy to read the manual or find the answer that has already been covered.

Actually that proves our point!

You got 48 pages, if you type in "camera flash", you will get 123 pages. Now, don't you think there is a LOT of GOOD information that has been answered in those 48 or 123 pages that a person should review? 😳 Should we really waste time giving another 48 or 123 pages of answers that have already been covered. Remember, one post can go on for a long time, just like this one! 😕

Maybe they will find out a LOT more than the answer to their simple question that has been co...

I agree....this is a forum for one and all to ask any questions anyone wants to. Keep your snotty comments to yourself. Go throw your phone against the wall if you're so upset about questions on this forum (throwing your phone against the wall is about as narrow minded as telling someone their question is stupid because they dont do a search---so I actually believe you might break your own phone...LOLOLOL). Also, if me replying in this threat annoys you even more becuase this thread is getting L O N G E R...GOOD!!!!!

I'm just going to chime in here because it actually just proves a point - that forums are good for communicating back and forth about a subject, but they are horrible for hosting static information about something. We need a FAQ section or something where people can put up static posts which can't be answered which answer questions like "What does the flash do?"

I'm not about to go and hunt through 100's of posts to find the answer. It needs to be better setup on this site.

The sys-admin should devise a way for certain individuals to post static, unchanging, and beneficial information in a way we can all get to easily and efficiently.

to answer ur original question...the camera flash does nothing...has no effect other than using it as a flashight to perhaps find a keyhole....
