Motorola V710
Anyone try a v265 then switch to v710?
I have a v265 currently in trial period. I'm not so happy with it as the screen is horrendous, the cam stinks, the build is cheap quality, and the sound is tinny.
Is the v710 any better than this? I know the screen is crisp, but I've read of so many problems. Are the core components solid? Is the speakerphone clear? Earpeice loud?
I may be trading in for this.

I'll tell you the screen on the 710 is bigger and crisper. The core components to my experience are ok. The earpiece is gonna be just as loud as the one on the 265. The speaker is clear and loud as the nextel i730 (the best speaker motorola makes). Again this is my experience, others may vary. I work in a store and i had all of these phones.

wel i guess it was that one handset i had. I have never heard anyone complaine about the volume before or since. But like i said that was my personal experience.

I did, the 710 is MUCH better and has a MORE quality feel...BUT, i am PISSED about not being able to iSync. Supposedly, Verizon "crippled" the BT so it only works with the headphone or whatever...but it DOES NOT sync! Still, Great everything else! 😳

I returned my v265 yesterday. If I pickup the v710 (and stay with vzw), i'll order it online where the $50 off is immediate instead of mail-in.

uh,not that big unless you want a match box.i did have a super small phone and wanted the smallest phone around because of the "cool"factor.but now i feel that the small thing has been done and the "cool"factor has changed to better things like mp3-camera-video-speaker phone-blue tooth and fun stuff like that.the phone's size is comfortable to use and fits quite nicely on your belt,and the large lcd could not exist on a smaller phone.this is just my opinion and i know they're like belly buttons,but there it is. 😁
