Unable to Charge

I've noticed a couple of times when I pluged my phone in to charge that it says "Unable to Charge". Does anyone know why that message pops up? If I unplug it then plug it back in the message goes away and it starts charging.

Your charge contacts may be dirty. To clean them scrape the three charge contacts VERY gently with a pack tool available at most hardware stores and walmart. or take it to a VZW store and ask a technician to clean them for you.

Defective charger maybe? The charger is covered by the 1 year warranty, too.
