bitpim solution

I get to the last step in trying to remove the files from my phone when bitpim shows me this pop up:

"Other CDMA Phone on COM4: The phone is not responding while manipulating the filesystem."

What do i do from here?

I have the same problem in trying to delete the stock pictures - did you find a solution?

no not yet. i gave up. i had to return my phone and get a new one so it may work with this new phone (probably refurbished), but i haven't got around to it yet.
