VZW and V710
Regardless that VZW has limited bluetooth on this phone, the service is still awesome. Perhaps they'll change their minds in the long run and enable full bluetooth capabilities not only with this phone but with future phones released by VZW.
Of course, any other provider has better phones and even bluetooth, however, the service is horrible.
The other providers might improve their service in the near future, either better than VZW or at least equivalent. Until then, VZW all the way. 🙂
And Happy New Year to All!

I came extrememly close to going with Cingular because of this. So close. The thing that kept me is the M2M minutes. My wife, friends, and family all have Verizon. It would have added like 200 minutes onto my Cingular bill every month just from those minutes.
But, yeah, it would be nice if VZW didn't false advertise Bluetooth functionality on this phone. Full Bluetooth is not just using an earpiece. It's much more than that, as we all know.

I fully concur. The only reason I'm still with VZW is that it offers an AMPS/CDMA phone. The old AT&T (didn't have Cingular where I live until the merger, and I don't know which phones the new Cingular offers) store had either AMPS/TDMA or GSM. But know AMPS/GSM. Given I travel frequently to areas without GSM service, that didn't work.
But Verizon's worry-free concept is worthless if VZW disables the features you need. And furthermore, when I call VZW and tell ask them questions about fixing Bluetooth, or getting a flash update, the worry free concepts seems to be "customer, don't worry, there is nothing you or I can do about it." They're very pleasant, but the problem is never solved, the first time or subsequent times.
