Master Clear/Master Reset
Wow, I just did both of these and it fixed a few problems with the phone. I've already done the SD flash and I noticed that the Voice Dial feature no longer worked. Also, ever since I've owned this phone when I am in the main menu and have an icon selected, it does it's little animation. But on the third loop of the animation it will do like two frames and freeze then two more and freeze etc. I don't know why, but that bothered me.
After the Master Reset/Master Clear the boot times for my phone have significantly increased, menus are faster, no more freezing icon animation, voice dial works properly and even the bluetooth connection with my computer/MPT seems to be improved.
I do have to give a warning though, make sure you back up...

Master clear id probably not needed for the results you received, master clear does just that clears all data from the phone. Master reset resets all settings, this is probably what fixed your phone, if the was a glitch in the settings.
