earpiece sound quality

How is everyone's earpiece sound quality on their v710? Mine is ok, but the sound seems to degrade when the volume is turned past 2 or 3. Seems like it doesn't give the full audio range a normal earpiece speaker would give. If a person raises their voice a bit - upon normal inflection - it sounds a bit broken up. Almost like the speaker cannot handle the audio.

Sorry if this makes no sense, but i can't think of a better way to describe it right now.

Mine works just fine. I have mine on 7 and I am using the SuperDave flash.

7?? Wow, that's loud. I have mine on 3 usually and it's loud enough.

Is the SD flash supposed to enhance the earpiece sound? I have a recent (within the week) model v710 and thought they fixed a whole bunch of issues with the recall in Nov.

What recall in Nov?

My HS820 is so so at max volume. I've begun to experience a lot of static lately. I re- paired it but still have the prob - anybody else?

Can you provide me with a link to info on the Nov recall? I've had mine since July or August with no software updates and have been very disappointed. Thanks

Are you serious? Mot took all the v710 stock off shelves at Verizon stores and made a few fixes.

As far as earpiece goes, I'm talking about the phone earpiece not the blutetooth headset.

I finally got my replacement and the earpiece volume is perfect..in fact I had to turn it down...you can actually hear it a foot away from your head with the volume up all the way... 🙂

I never returned my phone to moto for a replacement. I bought mine on the day it was released. Maybe I should go down to Verizon and have them swap it out for one of the newer ones per the recall.

I think that would be wise...having decent earpiece sound quality takes the edge off some of the other shortcomings...
