Threatening to DO business with Verizon
So I really want to switch to Verizon becouse of their coverage in the NorthEast - they have the best coverage by far.
But i want Bluetooth and I want a good phone.
They just DONT HAVE THIS. All I hear is bad things about this phone and I am really repulsed by the Motorolla Interface.

I live in Massachusetts and I'm a Sales Engineer. I'm on the road all day and I cover all of Mass. and most of New Hampshire. Verizon is definately the best carrier I've had. I'm giving an unbiased opinion of the v710. I've had this phone for over 5 weeks and because of the negative reviews I'm sorry I waited so long to get it. The v710 is the best phone I've ever had. The reception is fantastic. I get coverage in areas that my Star Tac didn't. I use the Bluetooth headset only because I don't have a laptop computer, just a desktop. I don't need the other Bluetooth functions. I bought the extra capacity battery for this phone and it works great. I can get any picture I take on my computer without paying Verizon via Transflash card. The voice ...

i wont lie, i work for radioshack, this phone seems to be the best phone vzn has came out with in the two years and a half i have been there. alot of people on here to trash it but i have to agree, its a business phone not a toy. ive sold quite a few of these phones and my customers seem to love it. i am about to switch over to vzn and i think this is the phone i am going with.

I am a Technology VP and travel frequently - this phone is primarily for business. I too am in the MA/NH area.
I think what I am going to do is get a phone from Cingular AND the v710 from Verizon and do a side by side 2 week comparison of coverage and features.

Also - for those of you in MA looking for a sweet custom installer that does the Bluetooth car kits - I have one.
