OK... slightly confused about PC Sync Via Bluetooth on the v710

I keep hearing about the limited Bluetooth functionality with this phone - but then I hear that people are syncing via Bluetooth to there PC. What are you/they syncing?

I am looking to Sync my Calandar and Contacts (Outlook 2003 conected to Exchange) with my PC. However I have over 1000 contacts on my PC and only want certain ones on the v710.

Is this a piper dream?

Mobile Phone Tools allows you to import your contacts and calander events. It will also allow you to select which entries to sync. I use Office 2003 so you should be able to sync no problem.

"Mobile Phone Tools" - is that a product or a tool within Office 2003?

When you say import, is it a manual process or can I have it hotsync to my pc like a pda?

MPT is a product of Motorola not found in Office2003. MPT can open your contacts list and import them as contacts onto your phone. It would be similar to synching with a pda.
