Here we go. This looks like the answer we need, if we can trade in our defunct V710's. According to the article, Motorola expects it be to available in the first half of 2005.

You could see this phone today at CES in Las Vegas. It is exactly the same size as the v710, it is running different (better) software, and does have Bluetooth along with EVDO.

First half of 2005? Let's see, based on the V710 launch, that means (and I'm actually not kidding here) mid-2006, if they release it at all. I'm starting to believe VZW might actually carry an LG or Samsung bluetooth phone by then...far-fetched as that may seem.

I can't believe Verizon would let anyone trade a V710 for an 815 - I think wnrussel meant that in a figurative sense.

Actually, I was thinking it might be appropriate relief as settlement for the Class Action Lawsuit which was filed in California last month.

Surely we are not going to accept a coupon or a $15 headset after all of this.

The same chance your auto maker would let you upgrade your car after a few months... haha nice wishful thinking.
