If the V710 wasn't crippled, how would you pair it to another phone?

The devices could be set to connect by finding each other, but why would you want to?

Like trying to pair two printers together...

I dont have the V710. I have a V551. I want to pair two phones in order to exchange pics with friends who also have fully enabled bluetooth phones. Is it possible to pair two bluetooth phones (that are not crippled) and exchange photos, ringtones?

Their are a few articles in the V551 forum about husbands sending pics to wives, etc.

Of course, I don't have OBEX, but..

Try this:

1. To just send and keep on your phone go to the file you want to send. hit the menu key and select copy. it will prompt to turn on bluetooth to look for another device.

2. To send to another phone and remove from your phone go to the file you want to send and select send.
