Handsfree Voice Gateway

So, OK... I've been using my v710 quite successfully with my ThinkPad T42 to access Verizon's 3G network for internet access.

In "My Bluetooth Places" on my laptop, it shows two services for the v710. 1)Dial-up Networking Gateway on Motorola Phone and 2)Handsfree Voice Gateway on Motorola Phone. Obviously, I'm using the Dial-up Networking Gateway for internet access. I just don't know what "Handsfree Voice Gateway" is for. Anyone done anything with this?

Yes.

You use this whenever you connect your headset. Also, you can connect your computer to the HVG and communicate through your PC speakers/microphone.
