im bout to go out and buy a new phone and im looking at this phone. but before i buy it wanna kno. is the ear piece loud? like could i hear good on it in malls and school and stuff cause i heard everything loud and clear with the motorola t720. is the speaker phone loud too? and is this phone worth getting. some please help me cause i dont want to go out and waste my money

First, keep in mind there's a trial period of 15 days. So you have nothing to lose to try it out.
As for the earpiece volume, that's been one of the largest complaints against this phone. Not necessarily that the volume is low, it's just that the phone has to be positioned just right over the ear. Think of the sweet sp...

I like it. It's way louder than my old phone (kyocera). It rings loud, too.

probably not worth $249.00, but if you can get it for less than $150...then I think you can be happy with the few shorcomings....otherwise at least wait until Feb 1 for LG-VX8000...no bluetooth but it's supposed to be a pretty cool phone..plus it will do streaming video..

I think it is a nice phone if you only want to use a bluetooth wireless headset but if you desire other bluetooth features, use a different carrier. You can get this phone for free right now after rebate on buy.com. It even listed on Amazon.com for $20 net profit recently after rebates. If I didn't have family members on Verizon and would have known how poorly the Bluetooth was executed, I would have bought the V600/V620.
