should i trade it in and switch to verizon for the V710?? is this phone really worth it??

Better hold you horses on that one!!!!!! If you read all the post here, you will see all the problems this phone has not to mention all the converesty over the crippled bluetooth software!!!!!!!! Frankly, I would wait. If nothing else the E815, which is an undated V710 is comming fairly soon.

If you are looking for a true bluetooth phone... why don't you talk to Cingular about the Moto RAZR 3.

Just my two cents:

There are a lot of reasons to switch carriers, but I for one rank the network availability and coverage as number one and data capability as number two. Personally for me, Verizon has done a lot better in a lot more places. I also have a Cingular phone (Moto V600) and it just isn't as good coverage-wise. But you have to decide for yourself.

If you want Verizon for the coverage, the V710 will maximize that because it includes analog. Only you know if your travel patterns make that matter. If it does, the V710 may be the last and only Bluetooth phone with analog coverage.

The E815 when it arrives does NOT have analog, but it does have 1X-EV/DO which is the awesome high-speed data link (pretty comparable to home DSL...
