Two Cell Phones;One Telephone Number

Has anyone had any experience with setting up two cell phones to access one telephone number?

The reason for my inquiry is that I currently own the v710 and Blackberry (BB) 7750 from Verizon Wireless (VW). I recognize that the BB has telephone capabilities, but until VW adopts the new BB design (7100 Series), I'm hesitant to use the BB as my primary phone.

What I AM interested in doing is having the ability to send/receive txt messages and take an occasional phone call on the BB when away from the v710 all from the same telephone number/plan.

I don't see why this should be any different than the typical home phone set-up (i.e. multiple home phones, one number). Of course with the exception of the VW "Greed" factor!

Any thoughts...

Only way to do this is one at a time. You would need to activate whichever phone you wanted to use on your account. You can do this online at Verizon fairly quickly but to switch back and forth a lot would be a pain.
