Do anybody know if I can get Motorola phone tools free?
Will the latest version of MPT work wil all motorola phones?? Or there is a MPT version for each model?

yeah, get the flash update. it has phone tools. You do not need to do the flash but the bundle has the phone tools software in there.

I am suggesting the one from Super Dave, or which ever one it is that is outlined in the tutorial. I just followed the tutorial exactly. I am not sure what features it was supposed to have added but my phone has been performing great ever since. It seems to handle the pictures (via trans flash) I put on there instead of corrupting them like it did before.

by the way, i do not think that it is the VErizon Flash. I am almost sure it is not. 😁

Flashes do not contain software packages. Also, the .SD flash was modified from the new VZW flash. It is the .OR flash but with a modified 041a seem, and an added option to change your exterior lcd background. But that flash is very buggy. I wouldn't touch it.

after you install it, all you have to do is double click your .rar file and extract it where ever you like and there your files will be.
make sure you do a live update in MPT too. I think the latest is 3.19e1

itsallgood,i did a live update on mine and it wouldn't work.it worked before i did the update.i had to uninstall it and download it again.was this just a glitch?should i try to update it again? 😳 😳

it should work. Mine does. I also went into
setup>general>change modem>*do not detect>moto cdma/v710M
so it thinks I'm using a v710M not just a v710. That's key 😉

trying to setup MPT 3 for the first time..i select v710...bluetooth....and it encounters a problem and must close everytime it attempts to discover the BT and even if it is already connected to my comp. any suggestions?

Had the same problem on my work laptop. I had to Add/Remove MPT then reinstall. All works fine now.

Looks like it is is from a third party. Doesnt look like an authentic S/W. May be it will have some harmful code in it.
My firewall gave me a warning that the application is running some suspisious scripts. I uninstalled it and now am planning to buy the authetic MPT from motorola.
